Welcome to the New Edition of our Clear Advantage Newsletter !
 
 

Much has been happening behind the scenes, all of which will greatly benefit our customers.
It is my pleasure to bring you up to date on the exciting news from Advantage Windows & Conservatories
Limited and to tell you about our future plans. We believe that you, our customers, are the most important
element in all that we strive to do at Advantage. Our aim is to ensure that all our customers, existing and
prospective, are valued at all times and treated in the most professional and courteous manner.

To make this happen we have made significant investments in our infrastructure and in people,
machinery and factory space. We currently employ around 150 staff in our offices and factories at
Poynton in Cheshire. Helen Gosling our Human Resources Manager heads up our HR department
and is responsible for all recruitment and training. We are, in fact one of the few companies of our type
and size to have a dedicated HR department. We believe that it is vital to ensure that we have a well
motivated and committed workforce that is capable of producing the highest quality range of products
and delivering them on time.

 

I’m delighted that the management team has
expanded to include Danny Hague as Group
Commercial Director and Glenn Fern as
Operations Director, joining myself and Finance
Director Chris Nicholls as Board Directors.

Together we have vast and varied experience
that will take the company closer to our goal of
becoming an outstanding trade fabricator.

We have also introduced a dedicated IT
department, managed by Rod North, to improve
communication and provide even more support
for our customers. Our website has been
completely redesigned and upgraded
and now includes many new features.

We pride ourselves on offering a rapid turnaround
on all quotations and a dedicated in-house design
team to provide drawings and technical support.

Another big step has been the expansion of our own marketing department. Katie Herring, our new
Marketing Manager, will ensure that customers receive first class support and advice on promotional
literature and point-of-sale material, advertising and direct marketing. Last, but not least, we have just
invested in a new 26,000 sq ft factory unit here at Poynton, which will provide us with the additional
manufacturing capacity required to meet our ambitious target of manufacturing 4,000 frames and
200 roofs per week within the next two years. More details on these exciting developments appear in
this newsletter which I hope you enjoy reading.

Finally, none of this is possible without the support of you, the customer.
That’s why together we can look forward to a brighter future.
