The Window Installers Warehouse (WIW) network of trade counters was launched in 2006 by
Advantage Windows and Conservatories Ltd, one of the UK's largest and most successful
trade fabricators. Each WIW branch is individually owner - managed and the latest to open
in the ever expanding network is WIW Banbury, run by Colin Welsh.

Colin's background is steeped in
the window industry. He ran his own
window fabrication company for 13 years
and his experience & family connections
within the building industry have given
him a unique understanding of how
builders operate.

His previous fabrication business
supplied nearly every building company
in Maidenhead and he's looking to offer
the same high level of expertise to the
building trade in the Banbury area.

One of the strengths of the WIW initiative
is that the owner - managers have a
vested interest in growing their
businesses, unlike certain other trade
counter managers who are employees.
Colin has based his business model
on service. He says: "builders want
accurate and fast quotations.

Danny Hague, Advantage's Group Commercial Director, conceived and launched the WIW initiative.
